Jorinde Voigt's Sara's Question IV (2021) is a signed mixed-media print that emerged from an intimate conversation between the artist and a close friend during the COVID-19 pandemic, reflecting shared anticipation of reconnecting once isolation would end. The limited edition artwork translates this exchange into a refined geometric visual language that maps emotional proximity, distance, and expectation.

For the first time within this body of work, Voigt introduces vivid color fields and angular forms to represent interpersonal movement and relational dynamics. Intersecting planes of blue, pink, orange, and gold are punctuated by precise cutouts, revealing underlying layers and creating a nuanced dialogue between surface and depth.
